Here it is friends, family and passersby.My favorite Mushroom Cloud set to date.
This was recorded at Zebulon in Williamsburg on April 7th, 2010.
Mushroom Cloud was formed by Harry Rosenblum and Myself out of the ashes of Fear and Trembling (posts to arrive soon). Our 1st couple of sets were just duos of Sax and I think guitar and electronics at that point. The guitar faded pretty quickly from the mix in the beginning of the project. Similar to Fear and Trembling which was anywhere from a trio w/ Noell Dorsey (Guillermo Sexo, Beautiful Weekend) to a larger ensemble of serious characters, depening on our homeboys availability and our moods for the performance. So in that respect M.Cloud is similar in the fact that we just have too many kick-ass musician friends not to invite them into the mix. I also remember M. Cloud being on a bit of a hiatus when Jeff Mooridian (Vaz, Hammerhead) mentioned he wanted to create music in a more experimental fashion. I knew he and Harry were friends so I mentioned the then on hiatus project and we slowly grew into the 7 member outfit we are today.
